Ex Libris Exhibition and Competition 2011 – Rules
 
VI EXLIBRIS International Competition on the subject: “2011: 150 years’ Unity of Italy”
 
Participation Rules
 
Art. 1
The Competition is open to any Italian and foreign artist and entry into the competition is free.

Art. 2
Each artist can enter the competition with a maximum of two works by sending only one copy of each work.
Works must give the following information written on the reverse side, in a European Language (not Cyrillic, Japanese, Arabic or Chinese): year of completion, technique,  author’s full name and address.

Art. 3
All the techniques of original graphics are allowed, except for drawings, photocopies and computer graphics. The maximum accepted  paper size for entry works  mustn’t be higher than mm. 290 x 210 (A4 Dim.).

Art. 4
The work must include the words “Rotary Club Acqui Terme”, also in abbreviated form: Rotary C. Acqui T.

Art. 5
The artist must send the entry-form which can be downloaded from the website: www.acquiprint.it
The entry works must be sent to the following address:

The dispatch of papers, including the work, must bear the following words: “PRINTED MATTERS – NO COMMERCIAL VALUE
Works must be sent by September 30th, 2010. The works sent after this date will not be accepted.

Art. 6
The Jury consists of two members of the Acqui Terme Rotary Club and of three Ex Libris experts. The Jury will decide the works to be included in the exhibition and in the catalogue, will award a First Prize of 1.000 Euros and two Purchase Prizes of 750 Euros.
The awarding of the prizes implies that the artist has to surrender 75 copies printed from the work.

Art. 7
The propriety of all the works sent to the Exhibition will be transferred to Acqui Terme Rotary Club and all these works can be freely reproduced.

Art. 8
The Awarding and Opening Ceremony of the exhibition will take place in Acqui Terme in 2011 on a date and time to be decided.

Art. 9
By entering into the Competition, artists will accept all rules and regulations.
